Job Title: System Administrator Sr. Specialist
Division: Information Technology
Job Responsibilities:
-Install, configure, and maintain servers, server operating systems and application software.
-Maintain an accurate inventory of information system servers, data storage devices, and installed software; ensure that software license agreements are current and accurate in accordance with corporate policy.
-Implement, maintain, and update security measures to ensure the integrity of institutional data resources and prevent unauthorized access to network systems.
-Implement disaster recovery systems and develop procedures to ensure reliability of institutional data resources and recovery in the event of a catastrophic event.
-Perform a regular backup operation and implement appropriate processes for IDH data protection.
-Support in helpdesk support, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved.
-Follow up periodically on all IDH systems and software licences validity and renewal dates.
-Manage and coordinate all tickets requested with the eternal vendors related to applications support and renewals.
-Manage and implement virtualization and Linux Administration solutions across IDH.
-Administrate O365 tools ex. SharePoint, collaboration tools…, etc.
Job Qualifications:
BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum 4 years of experience
Solid knowledge (Server operating systems, workstation operating systems, enterprise information systems, VMware, service applications (Office 365-Backup, Encryption, Antivirus, etc.)
Good knowledge in shell scripting and ability to edit various server configurations.
