Jr. HSE Engineer (Electrical Engineer) at Scib Paints Company

Working Days: Saturday to Thursday
Job Description
- Ensuring the company’s compliance with current health and safety legislation and Dealing with all the official authorities and end the associated work such as the Civil Defense and the Office of Occupational Safety and Health procedures.
- Identify and assess potential risks and identify ways to reduce risks and prepare the reports related it.
- Oversee the processing unit for drainage and make sure to match the results of the law.
- Review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations.
- Conduct the meetings of safety and health management to educate all employees of the company and prepare the training courses for employees and writing reports, bulletins, newsletters and prepare a plan of evacuation and emergency and training employees and recoding the results.
- Follow up and organizing the safe disposal of hazardous substances advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases. And reviewing the contracts of recycling and disposal of waste.
- Conduct the regular inspection on processes of fire-fighting, safety, emergency, ensure response equipment and compliance with the specifications and follow-up maintenance contracts.
- Hold regular trainings to emergency cases team and first aid team to ensure the highest level of preparedness in case of any emergency. And keep records of these exercises, make recommendations to improve emergency response.
- Assist in developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures and evacuation plans and train all employees.
- Make sure the staff all directions and procedures existing in the procedures and instructions manual related to 5s standards and security and ISO and occupational health and safety.
- Do other tasks related to Work requirements and upon request of the direct manager after the adoption of head of department.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree of Electrical/Chemical Engineering
- 1 - 2 years of experience
- OSHA, NEBOSH certificated is an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with people at all levels
- Worked in chemicals industry highly preferred
- Excellent command of English language both written and spoken.
