Bank SAIB is currently looking for Database Administrator to join our team in the IT sector as per the following details:
Main job responsibilities :
- Conducting the assigned activities to deliver the IT database framework in compliance with IT sector strategies, the banks' projects, the Bank policies', procedures, CBE relevant regulations and database up-to date technology standards.
- Conducting the assigned activities within Capacity plan, proactive maintenance framework, and performance monitoring activities for the banks' IT databases.
- Adhering to Security policies with regards to administration & troubleshooting assigned activities.
- Maintaining complete documentation of all administration activities, configuration and changes to all databases.
Main job Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of database Internals. (SQL Server and Oracle).
- Experience with Oracle RAC Oracle Data Guard Advanced Security & OEM
- Extensive knowledge of T-SQL
- Solid understanding of relational database modeling.
- Expert knowledge of relational database design principles
- Expert knowledge of database backup, restore and recovery procedures
- Understands disaster recovery procedures and how they apply to SQL.
- Experience using third part job schedulers, preferably Active Batch.
