Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented supply chain specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain process for our refrigerator company in Egypt. This includes planning, sourcing, purchasing, and logistics management.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
Plan and forecast inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and minimize excess inventory.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain supply chain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Manage logistics and transportation activities, including customs clearance and freight forwarding.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
-At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management
-Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software
