We are hiring Supply Chain Director.
Job Description:
· Develop and implement procurement and agronomy strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
· Develop and manage budgets for procurement and agronomy functions and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness
· Oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of all materials, supplies, and equipment needed for the company's operations
· Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of inputs while ensuring compliance with quality standards and production protocols
· Collaborate with other departments to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness, including inventory management and demand forecasting
· Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions in supply or changes in market conditions
· Lead a team of procurement and agronomy professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management as needed
· Develop and implement production and inventory planning strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
· Oversee the production planning process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
· Oversee the inventory planning process, including demand forecasting, safety stock management, and order management.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to planning.
· Develop and maintain metrics to measure planning performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure planning needs are met and planning processes are integrated with other business processes.
· Manage and develop the planning team, including hiring, training, and development.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain or a related field.
· 10+ years of experience in supply chain, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
· Solid analytical and numerical skills and capability of achieving long-term highly ambitious goals (cost, tonnage, etc.)
· Track record in management of external stakeholders (both suppliers and farms.
