Panda Egypt ( retail company) is hiring Buyer ( Grocery Food ) in October HQ :
Responsibilities :
• Identify trends, summarize findings, and give feedback on existing contract performance, and provide as input to new contract processes for negotiations/ renegotiations.
• Evaluate costs and identify variances or opportunities to improve profitability.
• Agree with suppliers on the contractual framework, purchase conditions, warranties, returns levels, service level agreement (SLA).
• Achieve specific commercial goals & provide support to others, by Forecasting Using the data from category Management for negotiation while following established company policy and protocols.
• Gathering data from a variety of standard sources to identify latest trends in product, negotiate hard and soft conditions, etc...)
• Regular store visits, competition survey has to be done as well as provide the Info to be used for negotiation, selecting the most appropriate approach (from established options) and reacting to changing priorities / circumstances.
• Carries out prescribed suppliers’ management activities and provides support to others by following the company policy & procedures.
